During this weekend we will explore Killarney with our cameras looking for the images that speak to us. We will travel by boat down the coast for a day - head into the Park - visit the village - only thing in our way will be time to do it all. Limberlost Art Show 2012![]() August 11th - 12th, 2012 My good friend and artist Jeff Miller has asked me to join him as his guest artist on the annual The Artists of the Limberlost tour. This is a collective of artists and craftspeople who host an annual mid August studio tour. Their studios are all found along the scenic Limberlost Road, north of Hwy. 60 in Muskoka, Ontario. While the work produced by the members covers a broad range of media and style, they are united in their love of the ruggedly beautiful Canadian Shield landscape which they call home. Limberlost Road is located close to Algonquin Park in the Huntsville/Lake of Bays area of Ontario, and winds through forest, rock and wetlands rich in wildlife and natural beauty. Tucked along the road are the studios and homes of the Artists of the Limberlost. Each artist welcomes visitors by appointment, but to really share their work with the public, the Artists of the Limberlost join together for their annual studio tour weekend, this year on August 11 & 12th. Visit individual studio pages to see their work, and to learn who the guest artists are this year.
