2008 Photo Workshops with Rob Stimpson
All participants should bring the following:
- Footwear: Hiking boots. Depending on the weather we will be walking on hiking trails, rocks and possibly close to water etc. so ensure you are wearing boots/footwear with a good tread.
- Clothing: Please dress for the weather and it's better to layer than to bring one warm jacket . Remember -- you know how you react to temperatures, so if in doubt please bring it.
- Rain Jacket: unless a hurricane moves in, we will shoot in overcast and light rain (makes for great images)
- Camera Equipment: Bring what you normally shoot with -- memory cards, film if you still use, sturdy tripod, any filters you use or have always wanted to try, flash (optional), extra batteries and a backpack or camera bag.
- Laptop with extension cord, extra CDs, DVDs: Please note this is not mandatory but helps out if you are digital shooter
- Please Note: Where most workshops are run, there is no photo developing nor a photo equipment store so ensure you have enough batteries for your camera (digital cameras use more power than conventional film cameras, especially in cold weather), extra cards etc.
- Instruction Manual that came with the camera: This is essential as issues do arise with newer cameras. This helps expedite the process on isolating any problem that might arise.
